Discovered in 2009 after being empty for over 20 years in February 2010, The Old Vic acquired Tunnels 228-332 from BRB (Residuary) Ltd, an innovative performance space beneath Waterloo Station. The unique 25,000 square foot venue beneath Waterloo Train Station showcases productions, performances and installations in 2010 and will be home to a series of innovative and surprising arts events. The Tunnels were the setting of the critically acclaimed Lazarides production Hell’s Half Acre (2010).
