Be introduced to the creative talents taking part in The Minotaur exhibition.
Massive Attack founding member 3D, aka Robert del Naja, has represented the music of his band for over two decades, from the symbolic cover art of Blue Lines and Protection, to his more recent collaborative work with UNKLE.
As a youth under his 3D tag, Del Naja was a central figure in the Bristol graffiti movement of the 80s that would eventually spawn Banksy, choosing to focus more on music with The Wild Bunch collective. Like his music, 3D's art is simultaneously modern and grounded, challenging and beautiful, industrial and ethnic. The conscious elements of the pieces are a reminder that Massive Attack were outspoken on social and international issues long before Michael Moore's populist documentaries gave this generation a pass to question the establishment.
